Pianists Aaron Diehl and Dan Tepfer have been friends for years, and they've played two-piano concerts before — but never online, and never on two pianos in two separate locations. That's what they'll be attempting to do on July 15th, 3pm NYC-time, using cutting-edge ultra-low-latency software Jacktrip to play together at a distance. For this concert, they'll explore Philip Glass, György Ligeti, and — last but not least — the American Songbook, for which they'll be taking requests from the audience.
