Join five-time Grammy-winning percussionist Antonio Sanchez and acclaimed pianist Dan Tepfer for an improvised duo livestream concert. Mr. Sanchez, in addition to being one of the most in-demand drummers on the international jazz scene, is also responsible for the score to the Oscar-winning feature Birdman, which he performed entirely solo. In this concert, Tepfer and Sanchez will explore personal compositions, reimagine jazz standards, and improvise pieces from scratch.
Using cutting-edge software Jacktrip, they'll play together from two separate locations, Sanchez in Queens, Tepfer in Brooklyn.
