MOTOWN & MORE: THE LEGACY LIVES brings back this wonderful era of music performing your favorite Motown songs by legendary artists including Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Four Tops and more while also performing classic songs by other music legends from the Motown era. This is the hottest Motown show around featuring a dynamic ensemble with several of the area's most talented artists.
The vocalists are Vic Frierson, Karen Linette, Gene McBride, Deborah Poole-Williams and Micah Smith, all wonderful lead singers who come together with exquisite harmonies. The six piece band features musical director and multi-instrumentalist Gerry Gillespie, outstanding saxophonists Art Sherrod Jr. and Eddie Baccus Jr., and a tight rhythm section of Marvin Miller Jr. on drums, Craig Alston on bass and Stanley Cooper on guitar.
