Muriel Mwamba is an award winning singer - songwriter from Zambia, Southern Africa. She has a sophisticated and soulful voice. Her music's bright urgency and infectious rhythms reflect a flavorful mix of the beats of the universe.
Her show theme, MUSICAL SAFARI, is based on the American standards and covers she first started singing in a five star hotel catering to an international business clientele and tourists in Lusaka, Zambia. Included are her own compositions and beloved African songs.
Ms. Mwamba's repertoire includes newly arranged traditional Zambian tunes, South African, and Kenyan songs. These songs merge the Zambian Kalindula Rhythm and various Rhythms from Brazil, Jazz, R&B, and Afrobeat into an exciting unique blend.
