“Grease with a Side of Mumbo Sauce” is an adaptation of “Grease” the movie. Set in Washington, DC in the late 1980s with the energy, music and dancing that unapologetically celebrates the richness and pride of DC culture, Go-Go music. Candy, the good girl, and Disco Dan, the cool tough guy have a sweet summer romance only to meet again at the same high school come fall. Candy just wants to fit in while Disco Dan tries to keep his bad boy image intact. A big dance contest has everyone battling for the crown. Cliques collide and history is made when the best dance crew is chosen!
