The music of multi-instrumentalist Saïs Kamalidiin and his ensemble Global Spirit is infused with all the sounds of contemporary life. Based in Washington, D.C., the members of this all-star group are among the most creative musical artists working in the region. The artists of Global Spirit are Leonard Brown, Violin and Guitar; Blake Cramer, Piano, and Vibes; Delorean Fullington, Acoustic and Electric Basses and Lenny Robinson, Drums. In addition to being musical artists who are constantly in demand internationally; each of these musicians are also educators, composers, and arrangers. This presentation is a very special one: "Around the World for the Holidays!" expressing joy and peace in various ways from around the globe through music of this special time of year.
