Adrian Duke is a piano player/singer/songwriter steeped deeply in the New Orleans blues tradition, and Theresa Richmond a seasoned gospel singer drawn into the blues through their friendship and musical collaboration. The combination of Adrian's New Orleans blues and Theresa's southern gospel roots are a surprising yet natural fit. Duke’s raw, unprocessed vocals and crescent city piano are perfectly balanced against Richmond’s blast furnace delivery and sassy grace. Together the duo have been collaborating for over a decade performing and writing songs that best complement their special chemistry in the blues. Special guest, recording artist, professor of jazz bass studies at NCCU, basstronaut Damon C. Brown.
