Mon Feb 20
The World Bank’s Chief Diversity Officer nailed it: “…your voices offer powerful lessons of reconciliation and understanding through the language of laughter and joy. I can’t think of a more timely message for our world.”
Laugh In Peace will perform at The Triad Theatre on three Mondays: February 6, 20 and 27. They’re an amazing team of stand-up comics comprised of Muslim comedian Gibran Saleem, Rev. Susan Sparks, senior pastor of The Madison Avenue Baptist Church and Bob Alper, a Reform rabbi who served large synagogues in Buffalo and Philadelphia before embarking on a second career as a stand-up comic in 1990.
The team has presented their hilarious, unique, totally clean shows hundreds of times across North America, England and Israel, in colleges, synagogues, mosques and churches. Other venues have included The Clinton Presidential Library, The Chautauqua Institution and The National Comedy Center. Their material is appropriate for teens and adults of all ages.
Enjoy a night of laughter with a profound underlying message of our shared humanity.
