Ukiah Symphony Orchestra 2021-2022 Season

Concert 1:   October 22 - Cycle and Recycle

Our season opens with new voices and orchestral powerhouses reimagined for smaller ensembles. Melinda Martinez Becker sings Mahler's introspective and emotional early song cycle, “Songs of a Wayfarer”.

Recorded at the Mendocino College Center Theater on the original dates of October 16-17, 2021, this concert is available for viewing on the Vimeo platform through November 21, 2021.

 


Concert 2:   December 4/5 - Festival of Lights

Come celebrate the holidays with the Ukiah Symphony strings. This collection of beautiful pieces features moving music by Jewish composers, including some familiar tunes to get you in the spirit of the season.

Concert 3:   February 26-27 - At the Movies

Fun for the whole family, the Ukiah Symphony Orchestra plays some of the most recognizable music from your favorite blockbuster movies and video games.


Concert 4:   May 21-22 - Dvorák's 8th Symphony

Our season finale honors some of our most beloved works and our modern voices. A first-time commission for the Ukiah Symphony Orchestra and Dvorák's joyous 8th symphony are reasons to celebrate!


Concerts 2, 3, & 4 are scheduled to be in person at:

  • Mendocino College Center Theatre 
  • Saturdays, 8pm & Sundays, 2pm
