The GW Jazz Orchestra is the only student run big band at George Washington University
The GW Jazz Orchestra is a vision for a new breed of jazz at GW. This project's goal is to give the community of jazz musicians that exists at the University an outlet for their creative talents in a way that fully realizes the respective visions of the great composers, artists, and visionaries that have populated the jazz genre since its inception. Additionally, the GWJO's goal is to give the GW Jazz Department, a sub-area of the Music Department in the Columbian College, an avenue for self-promotion available only to student organizations which will serve to extend the department's opportunities to a wider body of students. The GWJO is an excellent addition to the thriving community of student artists on campus and will give life to the expression of America's original art form for generations to come.

3. Seating first come at the door. Doors open 6 PM & 8:45 PM respectively.
