On this epic, high energy collection, the innovative artist ventures into freewheeling, deeply funky R&,B/jazz fusion territory for the first time, celebrating a dynamic spirit of collaboration with Jeff Lorber, one of contemporary jazz&rsquo,s most storied and eclectic veteran composers, producers and hit-makers. Riding the wave of Burning Room Only&rsquo,s critically acclaimed success, Bosse has assembled a top-notch band of musicians featuring Jeff Lorber on keys, Berklee College of Music professors Mark Zaleski on sax and Steve Langone on drums, Boston Symphony Orchestra percussionist Will Hudgins on vibes, and Carlos Sulbaran on bass. Together, this dynamic ensemble performs an exciting mix of Bosse/Lorber originals as well as select works from Lorber&rsquo,s extensive library of classic songs.
Boston-based guitarist and composer Ron Bosse has appeared throughout the United States and Canada, and has performed and recorded with jazz greats Dave Liebman, Bob Mintzer, Lil&rsquo, John Roberts, Jeff Lorber, Norman Brown, Ben Shepherd, Gary Novak, MonoNeon, Hadrien Feraud, Jimmy Haslip, Sonny Emory, Bob Reynolds, Mike Stern, George Garzone and Jerry Bergonzi. Ron has been praised for his work in Jazz Times, Downbeat, Jazz Now, Guitar Player Magazine, the Boston Globe and the New York Times.
