Mark Zaleski has performed with a wide variety of notable artists including Ian Anderson, Lake Street Dive, Jethro Tull, Louis Cole, and of course, Dave Brubeck. Our Time: Reimagining Dave Brubeck, is a momentous recording from the Mark Zaleski Band; a powerhouse sextet led by the esteemed saxophonist and arranger. On Our Time (Origin Records), the Boston-based bandleader presents reimagined takes of classic Brubeck compositions, celebrating the iconic pianist and composers stellar creative output with fresh, evocative arrangements with an edgy modern rock flare. Joining him at the Side Door is his brother, virtuosic pianist Glenn Zaleski, longtime saxophone teammate Jon Bean on tenor saxophone, CT’s own Matt Dwonszyk, Caio Afiune on guitar, and Oscar Suchanek on drums. He is currently on faculty at Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory of Music.
