Join us for an exciting evening Friday March 12 at 7 pm as The Mainstay welcomes back inaugural scholarship winner Zach Lambert and his friends for their long-awaited livestream performance. This jazz trio with a focus on standards is sure to have viewers moving up and out of their seats at home. $5 Streaming Pass
Zach Lambert began his journey with the guitar at age nine, and since then has never looked back. He enjoys playing a wide variety of styles, including jazz combos, solo guitar, big bands, pit orchestras, songwriter duos, original and cover bands. He has found the perfect balance of playing professionally while continuing his education at Towson University.
Lambert is joined by up-and-coming Baltimore City drummer Brendan Brady. He attended Towson University where he studied with Mainstay favorite Frank Russo. Brendan is an in-demand band leader and sideman performing alongside many regional favorites and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
The trio is completed with Lawrence Hutfles, a recent graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music. Lawrence began music as a classical bassist but fell in love with the intimate and honest nature of improvisation that thrives in jazz.
