Jazz and Soul vocalist Felece Tillman is set to debut her highly anticipated EP Soulful Tales while blending classic jazz tunes at Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., on Monday February 3rd. Known for her deeply expressive voice, 4 octave range and captivating performances, Felece has been making waves in the jazz and soul music scene with her unique blend of smooth jazz, R&B, and heartfelt storytelling. Her song "Brighter Love" and Michael Franks's cover "Tell Me All About It" has garnered airplay in both the U.S. Spain and the U.K., and she continues to build a dedicated following across national and international audiences.
Originally from Washington DC Felece with over 30 yrs of experience has developed her artistry over years of dedicated performances, collaborations, and original songwriting. She received her education in Applied Vocal Music Theory/Performance from the acclaimed Duke Ellington School of the Arts and Virginia Union University where she earned an undergraduate degree in Vocal Music Performance.
Her upcoming release, Soulful Tales, takes listeners on an emotional journey through love, loss, and rediscovery. The EP features three original tracks, including a soulful, Latin-inspired groove reminiscent of Sade, and a powerful Jackson 5 cover that showcases her ability to transform familiar classics into personal narratives.
In addition to her work as a performer, Felece has been featured in various podcasts, musical collaborations and showcases and also has worked as a part time vocal coach. Her dedication to her craft is reflected in every performance, where she brings warmth, depth, and authenticity to the stage.
