In this compelling evening of stories and live singing, Andy Darling invites you into their world of pure imagination; taking us on a journey over the rainbow. The glittering band, led by Andy, parades through a mix of jazz classics, golden age standards, and musical theater show tunes. Together with the audience they search for the truest meanings of connection and compassion, with a lot of laughter along the way! *Family friendly!*
Andy is a multi-hyphenate showbiz professional. His eclectic career as an actor, drag artist, producer, and director, spans Off-Broadway, cabaret, regional theater and beyond. After graduating from Shenandoah Conservatory, Andy has resided in the Big Apple where he has performed at the 13th St. Repertory Theater, Theatre Row, the Laurie Beechman Theatre, The Duplex, among others. For five years Andy starred as Blanche in The Golden Gays, the Golden Girls musical drag sensation. He is ecstatic to be taking the stage at his home venue of the Triad Theater, where he currently “runs the show” on a daily basis as their house manager. You may have seen him perform in his hit monthly singers showcase, Bound For Broadway, which he also produces and directs. Andy Darling is his drag persona! @andycrosten
Mason Griffin is a musical theater accompanist, coach, conductor, and music director. He resides in New York City where he has performed at 54 Below, The Duplex, The Laurie Beechman, The Green Room 42 and Triad Theater, among others. He teaches at The Institute for American Musical Theater (IAMT) and is the music minister at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church on Long Island. Mason is a Broadway World Regional Award Winner as the music director of Company at the Cumberland Theatre. Love to Andy and Mabel. @masongriffinpianist
