John Coley has appeared as both a sideman and bandleader for over 30 years. Performing in an over-booked schedule for over a decade with his own party band ~ "TO THE MAX" Orchestra, at society events, casinos, music festivals all over the country….John Coley returns to his roots with the development of his various Jazz Projects. They currently recording their first CD. Always a magnet for other top shelf players and performers, Coley brings a stellar ensemble together to explore the threads of this great and unifying fabric called American Jazz. Bassist Barry Boyd is a native of Buffalo NY and has over forty years experience as a bassist covering a range of musical genres including Jazz, R&B, Gospel and Classical. Working with Pittsburgh as his home base for years in Concerts, Clubs & Festivals…his eventual relocation to Philadelphia brought him a warm welcome from the Jazz Community.
Vaneisa is an award winning Vocalist, beautifully navigating all genres & styles; performing Gospel, R&B, Jazz, and Dance Music. Performances have taken her from singing the National Anthem for the Harlem Globetrotters and Philadelphia 76ers to venues on Cruise Ships, in Casinos, and of course…Jazz Clubs. Vaneisa has been invited to entertain as Vocalist at Events in East Asia, Istanbul, Turkey, and Paris, France.
Pianist Dennis Fortune is a fixture in the Wilmington/Philadelphia Jazz Scene, with decades of recorded & live performances Clubs & Festivals across the Delaware Valley, the Mid Atlantic Region & beyond. Mr. Fortune is a dedicated Music Educator with an Adjunct Professor position at Drexel University, along with a scholarship presented annually as the “Dennis Fortune scholarship for Musical Excellence” by the Christina Cultural Arts Center in Wilmington Delaware.
Saxophonist Robert Landham has played in a variety of musical settings, performing and/or recording with: Barry Harris, Nat Adderly, Gladys Knight, The Dells, Grover Washington Jr., Wallace Roney, Christian McBride, Stanley Turrentine, The Temptations, Dionne Warwick, Teddy Pendergrass, Joey DeFrancesco, Stanley Clarke, and many more. Robert currently performs world-wide with the Duke Ellington Orchestra.
