Cellist Amit Peled is a full time faculty member at Peabody and an international soloist, who is currently playing the cello of Pablo Casals, that was given to him by Casals's widow, Marta Casals-Istomin.
The recently published children's book, "A Cello Named Pablo", describes his journey with Casals's Cello is an inspiration to adults and children, alike.
