Dale Corn has been called “a young man with an old-fashioned streak”. He’s also been hailed by no less than Frank Sinatra, Jr. and former Count Basie arranger, Sammy Nestico as one of the most promising vocalists of the Great American Songbook.
The story of Dale Corn’s success begins in the anonymity of his high school days. While his peers were captivated by rock and rap acts of the day, Dale was enam- ored with the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and their musi- cal arrangers and bandleaders; Nelson Riddle, Billy May among them.
Dale is no ersatz performer, he’s studied his craft well and has disdafor copy-cat arrangements, preferring a fresh take on standards. Dale crawls into the mean- ing of a song, constantly honing his musical craft with artisan detail. Dale Corn is the real deal!
After meeting and befriending Frank Sinatra, Jr and Harry Connick, Jr’s band members, Dale says everything clicked for him. Forming a band, singing... it all came together. The payoff has been a series of sell-out engagements in the Baltimore, Maryland area he calls home.
