The Inkwell Singers
The Inkwell Singers - Matthew Schermerhorn, Andy Rice, Kara Masciangelo and Daniela Masciangelo - return to The Triad Theater to debut their new show Around the World in 80 Minutes.
This collection of songs not performed before by the Inkwell Singers are inspired by travel to places both near and far, and “a sense of place” both geographical and emotional. Around the World in 80 Minutes features songs from the worlds of classic rock, folk, pop, and a couple of show tunes. Some writers include The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Indigo Girls, The B-52’s, Pink Martini, Harry Belafonte, Kander & Ebb, and Noel Coward.
The Inkwell Singers will be joined by music director David Shenton and his band including bassist Jerry DeVore, cellist Mari Dorman, guitarist Matt Scharfglass, and drummer Benjamin Saporito.
Tickets are $35 in advance online including fees, and $45 at the door.
