THE TRUANTS are a five-man force of rock nature out of NYC. They place British Invasion and American (garage, psychedelic, folk-rock) covers, and, as it says on the t-shirts: NOTHING AFTER 1967.
THE TRUANTS play the songs you love and the songs you forgot you love. Beatles, Byrds, Kinks, Raiders, Stones, Hollies, Rascals, Animals -- Oh my! And they play them the way you loved them. Hits, B-sides and deep cuts. Two hours of relentless, joyful rock and roll, infectiously sing-alongy and thoroughly danceable.
The TRUANTS perform regularly at Resorts World NY and for the last ten years have been a featured act at Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA, the largest free music festival in the country.

GREG GRUBER (keys, vocals. On permanent loan from Woodstock tribute Back to the Garden)
BILL SCHEFT (drums, vocals. Founding Truant, longtime former writer for David Letterman, urban wit.)
