King Sax first picked up the saxophone at 9 years old in the public schools of Prince George’s County, Maryland, and has been in love with the instrument ever since. He continued studying and performing throughout his youth and college years, earning numerous prestigious awards, honors, and scholarships along the way.
After college, King Sax’s career took a pivotal turn in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when live performances came to a halt. It was then that he turned to street performing to share his love of music, joy, and hope with the world.
The overwhelming response inspired him to pursue music full-time in 2021, and since then, he has continued to captivate audiences worldwide with his artistry and passion.
In the spring of 2024, King embarked on his first international tour, opening for Iranian music artist Max Amini. He has since performed across four continents, 17 countries, and countless cities worldwide.
Most recently, King completed a UK/UAE tour, where he performed alongside Grammy Award-winning rapper Common at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in London. He concluded the tour with a performance at the iconic Dubai Opera—one of the most prestigious venues in the region.
King’s global travels have deeply influenced his musical style, blending genres such as Pop, Jazz, R&B, House, Afro, Hip Hop, and more. His performances deliver a high-energy and soulful experience that leaves audiences inspired and uplifted.
