Rhone Valley Revival!
While sometimes overshadowed by their famous wine regions to the north, the Rhone Valley has emerged with its signature rich, intense and spicy reds and textural, silky white wines made from the indigenous Marsanne and Rousanne grapes. Separated into two regions, North and South, each has its own signature style and grape varietals of focus. The North is almost exclusively Syrah (often blended with a touch of Viognier) making elegant, savory reds and the South home to robust, concentrated red that are blends, mainly produced from Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Syrah. This webinar is an eye opener and refresher to ensure these expressive wines are a part of your wine collection.
