Quinn Lemley brings the heat to The Triad Theater on Thursdays June 4th, September 17th and December 10th with "Swinging Hot Tomato"—a high-energy jazz residency bursting with rhythm, style, and a whole lot of personality. Backed by a sizzling trio or quartet (with special guest David Sexta on guitar), Quinn serves up a delicious mix of jazz, blues, and swing drawn from her seven albums—from Cocktails with a Twist to Live at the Half Note in Athens—plus inspired selections from her Grammy®-considered Rita Hayworth Revealed.
From the swagger of “Boom Boom” to the playful tease of “Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps,” every song swings, every moment sparkles.
An experience of joy, connection, and irresistible fun.
Broadway World “Best Female Vocalist” and Bistro Award winner Quinn Lemley returns to the New York stage with a dynamic residency featuring two distinct and unforgettable live experiences: the high-energy jazz concert "Swinging Hot Tomato" and the critically acclaimed theatrical event “Rita Hayworth: The Heat Is On!”
In Swinging Hot Tomato, Quinn Lemley is herself—playful, sexy, & unapologetically vivacious—bringing the heat with a bold mix of jazz, blues, and swing. Backed by a sizzling trio or quartet, with special guest guitarist David Sexta, Quinn performs songs from her 7 albums including Cocktails with a Twist, Live at the Half Note, and Rita Hayworth Revealed.
Critics agree: “Lemley is hot, hot, HOT!” – SiriusXM • “Delivers the goods” – Vanity Fair • “Dazzling” – The New York Times • “The genuine article, sung by a sassy hurricane” – Backstage
Then on Thursdays July 16 & Oct 22 In "Rita Hayworth: The Heat Is On! " Quinn transforms into Hollywood’s legendary “Love Goddess” in a glamorous, humorous, and deeply moving theatrical concert. More than a tribute, the show reveals the woman behind the icon—exploring Rita’s rise to stardom in Gilda, her relationships with Orson Welles, Prince Aly Khan, and Howard Hughes, and the price of fame behind the fantasy. Blending cinematic storytelling with the Great American Songbook, the show captures the sensuality, vulnerability, and resilience that defined an era.
Critics have hailed Quinn Lemley’s performance as “dazzling” (NY Times), “sensual and spellbinding” (Cabaret Scenes), and “You don’t even have to squint to see that Rita’s in the room” (NY Post).
Together, these two performances reveal the full Quinn Lemley experience: jazz artist, storyteller, and star. From intimate swing to dazzling Hollywood glamour, audiences are invited to experience Quinn two ways—each powerful, each unforgettable.
See one. You’ll want to see both.
