Renée Collins Georges returns to the legendary stage at Blues Alley Jazz for Birthday Blues at Blues Alley, a milestone celebration featuring the music that shaped the soundtrack of her life. Joined by her GEORJAZZ Trio, Renée brings together jazz, gospel, and blues in an intimate evening of storytelling and song.
Renée Collins Georges, a Los Angeles–born jazz vocalist and recording artist, has spent decades delighting audiences with her soulful blend of jazz, gospel, and blues. One of the final Raelettes touring with the legendary Ray Charles, she has performed across four continents in iconic venues and festivals, captivating audiences with her voice and storytelling. Now based in Maryland, Renée leads Her GEORJAZZ Group, performing original compositions and classic standards with trombonist and Duke Ellington School music educator DuPort Georges. A Grammy Voting Member of The Recording Academy (DC Chapter), ASCAP member, Certified Teaching Artist, and professional voiceover artist, Renée combines artistry, education, and community engagement in every performance.
In addition to her musical career, she is a REALTOR with Keller Williams Realty Flagship, known as “Your Singing House Hunter,” bringing the same creativity and dedication to helping clients find their dream homes.
