Brad Walker is one of the most active and sought-after performers in the city of New Orleans. Perhaps best known for his “soaring” (Rolling Stone), “energetic” (NPR), and “tasteful” (Relix) solos on Saturday Night Live, the Grammys, and the Tonight Show with Nashville mega-star Sturgill Simpson, Walker has five full-length releases under his own name and a decade of music- making in the Crescent City under his belt.
Drummer and composer, Alfred Sergel IV, has shared the stage with Grammy award winning artists and recorded on numerous Billboard charting albums. The energy and excitement Sergel has brought to audiences worldwide supporting other artists, he now brings to support his own original music which fuses pop melodic undertones within a modern jazz context. Sergel’s original music has grabbed the attention of NPR Music, JAZZIZ Magazine and has hit the top 200 on the jazz charts.
Matt Booth is a bassist, composer, and educator based in Durham NC. Over the last decade, he has worked continuously in a wide range of groups and in various musical styles, both in his previous home of New Orleans, and touring around the world. He has a forthcoming album with a new quintet project, and has released numerous albums over the years as a co-leader of the piano trio Extended, his quartet Palindromes, and the guitar trio Some Antics.
