The Vanguard: Black Music Month Celebration
The Vanguard is a Black Music Month Celebration Red Carpet Event! This Black Music Month event will provide an opportunity for artists and music lovers alike to come together and celebrate the rich history and accomplishments of Black Music in our city and abroad. Our Honoree’s remarkable achievements and dedication has distinguished them within an extensive and esteemed group of nominees from the Baltimore community.
Honorees include Jason Nelson, Cory Baker, Taylor Avonté, April Hall, Mike Thomas, George Lovett, Brandon Kanion & Therron, and will be hosted by Soul II Soul Entertainment and Konan Production.
The Vanguard Award recognizes the exceptional accomplishments of African American singers, composers, and musicians from Baltimore, who inspire others through their music, achievements and leadership. The festive evening will boast of musical presentations from a diverse group of performers from Baltimore and the DMV, tributing some of the Industry’s most notable black artists.
