Maya Belardo, known as “The Princess of Jazz” in her hometown of Wilmington, DE is passionate about jazz and being a positive example of young womanhood to all princesses. She fell in love with jazz around the age of 12 when she heard a recording of Nat King Cole singing, “Nature Boy.” Maya has sung at amazing jazz venues on the East coast and performed at the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival in her hometown at the age of 17. In 2022, Maya was a part of the Boysie Lowery Living Residency, working with some of the jazz industry's finest and attend different songwriting workshops. That same year Maya was also accepted to be apart of Jazz Philadelphia's CORE Cooperative. Recently, she was invited to sing internationally for a residency at the prestigious “Bamboo Bar” in Bangkok, Thailand, from March-June 2024. In 2025, Maya became a member of the 2025 Recording Academy. Maya’s new EP, Better Days is now streaming everywhere!
