Atlantic Starr was one of the most consistently successful – and underrated – soul bands of the 80s and early 90s, with a basketful of memorable songs including "Always", "Secret Lovers", "Circles", "Silver Shadow", and "Masterpiece". The S.O.S. Band is an R&B and electro-funk group who also gained fame in the 80s. They are best known for their songs "Take Your Time," "Just Be Good to Me," "Tell Me If You Still Care," and “The Finest.”
Julie Hawkins Ennis is a powerhouse vocalist whose musical roots run deep in the soul of Southern Maryland. After college, Julie began recording under Paul Minor’s guidance as well as that of legendary R&B artist Al Johnson of The Unifics. Under Minor’s development, she was positioned to become a featured female solo act under Verdine White of Earth, Wind & Fire with EMI.
