In High Maintenance!, Sharon brings her powerful, versatile voice and magnetic stage presence to an intimate cabaret filled with sultry songs, Broadway favorites, sophisticated standards, comic treasures and a few irresistible surprises. With award-winning entertainer Mark Nadler directing, she celebrates women who know what they want—even when what they want is a handyman, a little cosmetic assistance, the perfect dress, a grand romance…or simply to be heard.
Through music, storytelling and her special connection with the audience, Sharon travels from the pleasures and perils of love to family, reinvention and the art of embracing life on one’s own terms. The evening is stylish and sassy, but it also has heart: one moment she is sharing a wickedly funny observation; the next, she is revealing the tenderness inside a lyric.
Songs including “I Can Cook Too,” “Arthur in the Afternoon,” “Life with Harold,” “You’ve Let Yourself Go,” “So in Love” and other favorites create a show that is theatrical, personal and wonderfully unpredictable.
