“Smooth but earthy-textured, a blend of Bill Withers… and D’Angelo” – Independent UK
Neo-soul singer/songwriter Anthony David has, for more than a decade, been considered “the Bill Withers of his generation.” This is due to his warm, resonant baritone and thought-provoking songs, scoring radio hits and sharing the stage with artists such as John Legend and Angie Stone. Most known for his 2006 song "Words," a duet with contemporary R&B singer India.Arie that earned him a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Urban/Alternative Performance and made the Top 30 of Billboard's R&B/hip-hop chart, he also collaborated on hits including “4Evermore” featuring Algebra Blessett & Phonte, “Something About You,” “Body Language,” “Booed Up” featuring Mylah, and so many more.
