"Ladies of Soul" Tribute to Sade, Anita & Chaka

“Ladies of Soul”
Tribute to Sade, Anita Baker & Chaka Khan
Featuring iNDIGO (Sade), Brigette Johnson (Chaka) & Elyscia (Anita)

Performing your favorite songs like “Been So Long”, “Sweet Love”, “Sweetest Taboo”, “Smooth Operator”, “Sweet Thing”, “Tell Me Something Good”, “Through The Fire”, “I’m Every Woman”, and many more!

Fresh. Urban. Now. Those are the three words that best describe Baltimore-based vocalist and songwriter Elyscia. Fresh off being on American Idol (2022) and will be on “The Voice” 2024 (Team Reba)! This attractive and talented songstress has been belting out tunes for most of her life. Her captivating voice has opened doors to sing background for R&B greats like Jennifer Hudson and Regina Belle, providing new platforms to showcase her exceptional musical skills.

After being a former member of R&B ladies vocal band 4BIDN, who opened for R&B heavyweights like Ashanti, DMV native, Jocelyn Saunders aka iNDIGO released her debut solo album, The iNDI1st Project…Breakthrough. Initially as an indie project, the album, including anthem “Saved & Fly”, was picked up by Universal Records and provided a young and fun platform to bridge the gap between traditional gospel, R&B, and hip-hop, which was influenced, in great part, by iNDIGO’s smooth groove vocals.

Brigette Johnson has performed with several local DC area R&B / Jazz / Neo-soul bands, and has most notably performed with Saxophonists Ronnie Laws and the late Wilton Felder of the Crusaders, and is currently with the Brencore Music production company, performing musical tributes in and around the DC Metropolitan area and abroad.
