Baltimore-native Kevin Jackson has been taking the smooth jazz industry by storm since 2012 collaborating with nationally renowned artists Wyclef, Maysa, Oli Silk and Erice Darious, to name a few. His current single fom the CD of the same name, “Elevation,” featuring Judah Sealy, can be found on the Billboard Smooth Jazz playlist and his previous CD, Watercolors on Sirius XM.

Jackson’s mix of original compositions and acoustic renditions take his listeners on a journey of anticipation for what’s next. Jackson musical diversity offers something for everyone as he dabbles in varied musical genres--Rock, Contemporary Christian, Jazz, Latin, R&B and more. Often called the “quiet giant” due to his humble and quiet nature, Kevin’s stage persona is anything but quiet. Clearly, most comfortable onstage front and center, Jackson comes to life in his live shows, setting him apart from other artists throughout the metro area.

In the last few years, Jackson has made his move from side man to lead performing on the Main Stage at Baltimore’s premier art festival Artscape, opening for R&B star Anthony Hamilton and performing or sharing national stages with noted percussionists Sheila E and her father Pete Escovedo, and national R&B and jazz artists El DeBarge, Dwele, Marcus Johnson and Cindy Bradley.
