Eddie Henderson

Trumpeter Eddie Henderson has a been a powerfully swinging part of the brightest moments at Keystone Korner since the club began in San Francisco in the early 1970s, and Eddie is now playing at the peak of his powers and poetic lyricism.  Henderson was an essential voice in the iconic bands of Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers and Herbie Hancock & The Mwandishi Sextet, and he continues to lead some of the most exciting bands in all of modern music.  His current Quintet features Donald Harrison, alto saxophone; Peter Zak, piano; Essiet Okun Essiet, bass; and Mike Clark, drums.
