Music from the upcoming Truth Revolutions Records Release "June" - Original works and innovative treatments of music by Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder, Elliot Smith and many others. This is a band built  for and by chemistry and communication, with a hard-hitting approach harkening back to these musicians' shared roots in the fertile scene of Hartford, Connecticut.

Kris Allen has forged a clear conceptual and aural identity as a saxophonist, composer, bandleader and recording artist. A protégé of legendary alto saxophonist Jackie McLean, Kris has enjoyed a long career as a sought-after sideman, performing and/or recording with Illinois Jacquet, Gerald Wilson, Andy Gonzales, Jimmy Greene, Helen Sung, Jonathan Barber, Winard Harper, Andy Laverne, the Mingus Dynasty, Avery Sharpe, Ike Sturm, Rogerio Boccato, Andy Jaffe, Kendrick Oliver’s New Life Orchestra, Noah Baerman, the Curtis Brothers and Mario Pavone among others. He has collaborated with dancers, poets, visual artists and musicians from across diverse genres.

Kris’s work has been honored with numerous awards and commissions, including a Macdowell Artists Colony fellowship and the Connecticut Office of the Arts fellowship. He has held teaching positions at the Hartt School and Trinity College and is currently an Artist-in-Residence at Williams College and a Senior Teaching Artist for Litchfield Performing Arts Inc. He is a Vandoren Artist and plays Vandoren reeds and mouthpieces exclusively.
