Take a Seat Campaign

We are excited to introduce ourselves as participants of the 2019/2020 Elkhart Leadership Academy. Over this nine-month program, the academy promotes servant leadership through an awareness program that combines key community issues and enhanced leadership skill development to advance community stewardship. We are currently working on a nonprofit impact project for Elkhart Civic Theatre.

Our leadership group is on a mission to help restore the Bristol Opera House that is the home to Elkhart Civic Theatre. We want to assist in making sure that this historic building continues to be a vibrant community center for cultural arts programming that fosters the cultural enrichment and economic sustainability of downtown Bristol.

In keeping with our mission, we have begun the Take a Seat campaign. The goal is to assist the theatre in raising funds for renovations, all also giving people in our community the opportunity to honor themselves or loved ones. The renovations will help enhance the over-all safety and beauty of this historic theatre. Donors, members, and patrons of Elkhart Civic Theatre are invited to be part of this effort.

With your donation, you could leave a lasting legacy with a personally engraved dedication plaque on a seat in the auditorium of the Bristol Opera House. (Aisle seating is $210 and Main Seating is $160.) You will also receive a certificate bearing your name or the name of a person you wish to honor. You will have the opportunity to pick an area or seat(s) on a first come first serve basis.

The restrictions for the plaques are as follows:

- Each plaque is 2.25" wide
- The plaques can accommodate four lines of text and up to 22 characters per line.
