Ben Sher

A performer and professor, Ben Sher is both fluent in the classic jazz guitar tradition of Wes Montgomery and Kenny Burrell and the great Brazilian tradition of Joao Gilberto and Baden Powell.

He has five CD releases (including 2023’s Samba For Tarsila, which AllAboutJazz.com called “An entertaining album with much to enjoy”) and a long list of sideman credits. He’s performed at major jazz festivals like Montreux and major club venues like The Blue Note.
