Drummer Claudio Silva has always had roots in Dominican and Brazilian music, starting drum lessons at the age of 7. He has fervently studied and been inspired by icons from Baby Dodds and Jo Jones, to Max Roach and Greg Hutchinson, to Elvin Jones and Brian Blade. During his time at Peabody Conservatory, he played with Sean Jones, Warren Wolf, Russell Hall, Miki Yamanaka, Michela Lerman, Emmet Cohen, Brinae Ali, Marcus Strickland, Jason Marsalis, among others. Claudio has been recognized and awarded by the Youngarts Foundation, Downbeat Jazz Magazine and Herbie Hancock Institute National Peer-to-Peer Jazz.
Jason Arkins is an in-demand saxophonist and woodwind doubler based in South Florida, known for his versatility across jazz, pop, and a wide range of musical styles. He has toured internationally with Latin pop duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, performing in 18 countries and joining them as the opening act for Kendrick Lamar’s Latin American tour. He also performed at the 2025 Latin Grammys with the Argentine Duo.
GRAMMY award-winning pianist and composer Alex Brown is at the forefront of a new generation of artists. He has performed on and contributed music to Grammy award-winning and nominated albums with artists that include Imani Winds, Harlem Quartet, Paquito D’Rivera, Dafnis Prieto and Brian Lynch. A member of D’Rivera’s regular group since 2007, Brown has also collaborated with artists in a wide array of genres that include Valerie Coleman, Sean Jones, Cho-Liang Lin, Christian McBride, the New York Voices, David Sanchez, David Shifrin, Chris Thile (on the former American variety show Live from Here), Warren Wolf and Miguel Zenon.
