Lillian Faith & Aaron Gross
Aaron Gross is a professional jazz bassist and educator born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. He attended high school at Durham School of the Arts and earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the Miles Davis Jazz Studies program at UNC-Greensboro and a Master of Music degree from North Carolina Central University. Aaron has taught at Guilford College and served as a clinician for Durham Public Schools Jazz Day and is a regular performer at the Sharp 9.
Lillian Faith is a performer, arranger/composer, and educator originally from Albany, California. Lillian moved to Charlotte, NC in high school and attended Northwest School of the Arts before attending North Carolina Central University to study Vocal Jazz under Dr. Lenora Helm Hammonds and graduating with a dual BA degree in Jazz Studies and Music Education in 2022. Lillian currently teaches private music lessons and performs at various venues around the triangle.
