Duke Ellington Jazz Performance

Join us for our FREE jazz workshop, “IN SESSION: The Music of Duke Ellington,” featuring trombonist Jennifer Krupa.

Sponsored by the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Youth Orchestra, this workshop is designed for middle and high school musicians who want to explore the music of Duke Ellington then participate in a jam session led by Jennifer!

Jennifer Krupa is a 20-plus-year veteran of the United States Navy Band Commodores, a member of the Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, and a faculty member at The Juilliard School.

Doors open at noon - music begins at 1pm, Ticketholders are seated as they arrive per the floorplan determined by management ahead of time. Walk-in patrons may be seated as soon as possible if space permits;, specific tables cannot be guaranteed. Performance area is on our second floor, accessible only by a steep set of stairs.
