Cybele

Cybele entered the DC jazz scene as the steadfast hostess of the Green Island, advertising "Live Jazz, no cover!" to 18th street passersby in exchange for a few tunes a night. Fast forward to now- she heads a quartet featuring some the city’s most renowned jazz cats. A fanatic for jazz standards with a down and dirty swing feel, Cybele sings at venues around the area and redefined the Bukom Cafe jazz jam.

Doors - 6pm Show 7:00pm. For our live music on Thursday nights we have a food & beverage minimum of $12 in addition to the ticket price. Ticketholders are seated as they arrive per the floorplan determined by management ahead of time. Walk-in patrons may be seated as soon as possible if space permits;, specific tables cannot be guaranteed. Performance area is on our second floor, accessible only by a steep set of stairs.
