Baron Tymas originally from Washington, DC, has carried his guitar to stages across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Caribbean. Now a major creative voice in the Triangle, he plays with warmth, clarity, and conviction, even though he insists he is simply trying to “keep it groovy and not scare the neighbors.” His tone is rich, his phrasing unhurried but full of intent, and his lines tell stories shaped by decades of performing and teaching around the world.
