Meanwhile… at the Bowie Center for the Performing Arts…
Darkness gathers. A symbol lights the sky. Somewhere between truth and trickery, valor and villainy, a sound is rising — bold, brash, and brimming with destiny.
The Capital Wind Symphony invites you to choose your side in “Heroes and Villains” on February 15, 2026, at 3:00 pm — an electrifying concert adventure where the forces of good and evil collide in the ultimate symphonic showdown!
From the rooftops of Gotham to the kingdoms of Arendelle and Agrabah, you’ll be swept into a world where every note tells a story. Will you soar with Superman as his iconic march blasts through the hall? Or slink into the shadows with the sly grin of Beetlejuice? Perhaps you’ll belt it out with Elsa, stand strong with Moana, or revel in the magic and mischief of Wicked’s misunderstood witches.
And just when you think the dust has settled, Blackbolt screams with explosive energy, Batman prowls through the night, and a medley of Disney’s most devilish villains plots their next victim. The stage becomes a battlefield of epic proportions as themes from Harry Potter and The Incredibles all lead to a stirring salute to the real-life heroes of the Armed Forces.
Dear citizens, the power is in your hands. Will you root for the righteous… or cheer for chaos?
Audience members are encouraged to arrive in full cosplay — whether you’re a caped crusader, an enchanted queen, or a misunderstood mastermind, your moment awaits. Come dressed to impress, and prepare to join a concert where every costume, applause, and chorus tips the scales toward triumph or treachery.
