Renowned guitarist Dani Cortaza, whose music reflects his Argentinian and Paraguayan heritage, returns to Blues Alley with his ensemble for this year’s Argentinian Jazz series, joined by a very special guest: rising star vocalist and guitarist Marcelo Dellamea, visiting from Argentina.
Together, they’ll present an unforgettable evening of music that blends jazz with the rich musical traditions of Argentina and its neighbors, Brazil and Paraguay. The performance will feature unique jazz arrangements of classic standards and original compositions, showcasing the soulful sounds of Argentinian zamba, tango, and chamamé, the vibrant rhythms of Brazilian samba, and the lyrical beauty of Paraguayan guarania and polka. Don’t miss this celebration of South American music, artistry, and cultural heritage.
