Katherine Nagy
Katherine Nagy is an international songwriter whose soothing sound is derived from her Irish heritage and eclectic musical interests ranging from Folk to Americana to Celtic to Pop. Her lyrics are authentic and her delivery sincere, often reflecting on love, hope, dreams, motherhood and purpose.
She was the winner of the “Indy Folk Series” Songwriting contest in 2021 and 2020. Her song “Lay With Me” was voted top 20 songs of 2019 on the award winning “Irish & Celtic Music Podcast”. She performs around the Greater Indianapolis Area at The Jazz Kitchen, Indy Park Concert Series, The Tarkington Theatre, Indy Irishfest and other Arts Festivals. Her Trio was the opening act for Gabe Dixon in Fall 2021 and will open for Willy Porter in November 2022.
Katherine is the owner of Gypsy Lady Music, LLC where she collaborates with songwriters from Los Angeles to London to write songs for TV and Advertising. She is a member of the pop duo MoKa Muse, which recently had their song "All Fired Up" placed in Amazon Prime Series "Forever Summer Hamptons". She has released 3 original EP’s, an original full-length album, multiple single releases and is currently working on her second full-length album. She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College and lives in Indianapolis, IN with her husband Ryan and her 3 children and 2 dogs.
