Latin Grammy winner and multiple-time nominee at both the Latin Grammy and the Grammy Awards, Mireya Ramos is a vocalist, musician, composer, producer, arranger, and founder of Flor de Toloache—the first and only all-female mariachi group from New York. Her artistic vision blends influences ranging from R&B and soul, with a strong presence of her Latin identity, fusing genres such as mariachi, cumbia, salsa, and merengue. The result is an authentic, powerful, and contemporary sound.
Thanks to her versatility, improvisational talent, and unmistakable vocal tone, Mireya has become one of the most distinctive voices in New York’s Latin music scene. After releasing her debut solo album Mireya, which includes collaborations with artists such as Flor de Toloache, Gaby Moreno, Haydée Milanés, Camilo Lara, Adrián Quesada, Velcro, and the legendary Mike Garson, she unveils her new album Guerrera in 2025: an intimate narrative of the grieving process following the end of a relationship and the emotional stages a woman goes through on that journey. In 2025, Mireya has taken her music to the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. This year, she also performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk alongside Adrián Quesada in the Boleros Psicodélicos project and is currently preparing a new production centered on cumbia, featuring collaborations with artists such as Diana Burco, Mauricio Mesones, Adriana Lucía, and Los Malagueña, among others.
