Junior Jazz Lab
Join us for a prodigious afternoon of jazz directed by Nii Akwei Adoteye. The Junior Jazz Lab is how talented students from across Montgomery County get together to learn play your jazz favorites. Groups from this program have wowed audiences at jazz clubs, festivals, and regional cultural events since 2019.
Students study together in 3-month sessions where they learn repertoire and vocabulary of small group jazz, while also developing the creative and logistical skills necessary to join the professional jazz scene.
