Rockwell Shapiro is an award-winning pianist/composer, educator and community organizer born in Chicago and now based in Baltimore. He’s studied under the direction of renowned pianists like Orrin Evans, Marc Cary and Alex Brown.
His music draws inspiration from countless styles, including jazz, Brazilian, electronic, rock and classical music. His compositions have been performed by jazz greats like Kris Funn, Allison Miller and Tim Green.
