ELLISON K. is a critically acclaimed multi-hyphenate entertainer and vocalist who is renowned for his captivating stage presence and vocal prowess. He is the owner of 1829 Entertainment Co., an entertainment and production company dedicated to pushing boundaries while revolutionizing art through his lens. He is also a celebrated costume designer whose intention is to always represent the character in their most authentic form while honoring the portrayer's body. Recently, his design work was featured in the Off-Broadway production of Changes, a coming-of-age play by playwright Tyler “T” Lang, which ran for two nights at The Tank in NYC. ELLISON K.’s performance credits include starring as the Narrator in Michael McElroy’s original musical Sonnets and Soul, playing Thought 2 in the six-time Helen Hayes-nominated co-production of A Strange Loop from the Visionaries of the Creative Arts and Deaf Austin Theatre, former member of Afro Blue at Howard University, and solo performances at the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival, Intersections Festival, and Mr. Henry’s in Washington, D.C.
