From the age of two, Ryan Weaver has always demonstrated a level of artistry that precedes his age. Whether composing, performing, or teaching, Ryan always presents his music at the highest level possible. Ryan’s influences span across a wide variety of musical genres, such as jazz, rock, funk, and contemporary music. Ryan is constantly inspired by the world around him and uses the joy of playing to give his audiences a sense of musical healing. Ryan’s musical journey has granted him many enriching opportunities, such as performing at the Essentially Ellington Festival in 2024 and 2025, being selected to attend the Brubeck Jazz Summit in 2024, and being selected to perform with the Jazz Band of America in 2025. Ryan has performed professionally alongside many great jazz musicians, including Sharel Cassity, Katie Ernst, Marquis Carroll, and Baltimore's own Brandon Woody. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Ryan has brought his love of music and jazz to Baltimore to study at the Peabody Conservatory.

Ryan Weaver's cordless trio features some of Peabody's finest jazz musicians and improvisers. This trio explores all ranges of the dynamic spectrum and aims to create a sonic environment that harnesses mischief and suspense. This trio expands on the common jazz idiom and takes it to new levels that can only be described as experimentation. This night of music is influenced by many jazz giants such as Joe Henderson, Wayne Shorter, and Sam Rivers.
