Minh Vo is one his generation’s leading pianists in the Maryland and D.C. area. His musical journey began at the age of 7, learning classical piano at his elementary school and with his private teacher. After Minh turned 13, his father introduced him to jazz and its local scene. His excitement for the music snowballed, and was fortunate enough to be nurtured and mentored by locals Michael Price, Eric Byrd, and Paul Carr. Minh has been able to perform/record with the likes of George Cables, Charlie Young, Herman Burney, Nasar Abadey, Kelton Norris, Elijah Jamal Balbed, Steve Arnold, Grant Le, Delorean “Strings,” JC Jefferson, and many more.
